Our newest Jira improvements
Easier management of Jira cards right on the whiteboard
No more need to navigate to your Jira instance to tweak the details of your Jira cards. With Whiteboards, you can now do it all seamlessly within the platform. Whether it’s adjusting the status, refining the description, or fine-tuning the title, it’s all at your fingertips. And when the assignee, estimation, or priorities change, simply update your issue on Whiteboards. Quick and easy.

More detailed search bar for your Jira issues
In our latest enhancements, we’ve given the Jira search bar a significant boost. Now, finding your issues is easy, offering two intuitive methods: JQL filters or simplified criteria like assignee, status, or issue type. Just click the toggle bar to choose your preferred approach.
When opting for the basic filter, ensure your Jira cloud sites are correctly linked. Easily switch between Jira sites to seamlessly add the Jira issues you need. For guidance on connecting Jira sites with Whiteboards, click here.
Should you need to refine your search, select the Jira project and search across all projects. When selecting a project board, you can also easily view issues from the project backlog, active or closed Sprint. Then, specify the type, assignee, or status to narrow down the results. The search engine will promptly display matches.

If you prefer using the JQL filter, simply switch to that option and start typing your query. Your list of matching issues will appear on the right side of the whiteboard in real time. Streamlined, efficient, and tailored to your needs!

Enable automatic changes of your Jira issues
Bid farewell to the hassle of manually refreshing your Jira cards on Whiteboards. With webhooks in place, watch as they immediately update on their own whenever changes occur in your Jira issue. Configure webhooks within Whiteboards and reclaim valuable time in your workflow. Streamlined efficiency at its best!

New look for connecting with Jira
Now, as you step into any digital whiteboard, you’ll immediately spot the prominent Jira icon on the right-hand side toolbar. Clicking it will let you seamlessly integrate Whiteboards with Jira.

And the best part? Connecting your Jira account with Whiteboards is now even more straightforward. With a couple of clicks, you’re ready to dive into working with your Jira cards right away!
Summing up
The latest upgrades in the Jira-Whiteboards integration lie in the revamped visual interface, intuitive features, and convenient editing process of Jira cards, allowing teams to effortlessly navigate and prioritize their projects.
Users can make adjustments directly within Whiteboards, eliminating the need to toggle back and forth to the Jira instance. This streamlined workflow empowers teams to refine statuses, descriptions, and assignments with just a few clicks, ultimately accelerating project progress.
Another improvement centers around the enhanced search functionality. Users now have the flexibility to search for Jira issues using either JQL filters for more complex queries or simplified criteria like assignee, status, or issue type. Tailor your view by selecting specific projects or Jira boards, and further refine it by narrowing down to issues from active or closed Sprints, or from the backlog. This dual-search approach caters to varying user preferences, providing an efficient way to locate and manage tasks.
Moreover, webhooks integration eliminates the need for manual card refreshes. Instead, users can set up automatic updates, ensuring that any changes in Jira issues are instantly reflected on Whiteboards and in Jira.
This all not only saves valuable time but also guarantees that project teams stay up-to-date with the latest developments, fostering smoother collaboration and decision-making. Want to test Whiteboards by yourself? Give it a try today!
