What is the Product Backlog template?
Arrange your Agile backlog to release new features and provide iterations in an easy and simple way. Organize the items accordingly to their importance or preferred color-coding. How to use the Product Backlog template in a few steps?
- Open the Product Backlog template on a new board or add it to an already existing one.
- Invite your team to the board by sending an email invitation or sharing the board URL.
- Add the import zone to the User Stories columns, set a JQL filter, save the settings, and click refresh. The product backlog items will appear in the designated area.
- Add update zones to all frames needed in the Not Started, In Progress, and Completed columns. Set appropriate JQL filters to ensure the changes are automatically applied when dropping work items there.
- Start the backlog grooming session with your team by discussing all of the Jira items and placing them in appropriate columns.
- Continue the meeting until all backlog user stories are discussed with your Scrum Master, Developers, or Stakeholders and placed in the correct frames. Move the tasks between the columns during the sprint. Get back to the board at any time to see the progress of the tasks.
